Unearthed (Patreon)

Hi I had an exhibition! That's what's been keeping me busy. Please enjoy some abstract art.

Unearthed is a process driven series that comes from the desire to create new artefacts from the elements of painting. Through repeated layering and combining, the alchemy of paint, plaster and fabric create unique, almost geological formations.

In the same way that natural materials are processed before use, Unearthed applies the human systems of material processing onto these, through cutting, laminating, painting and pouring to bring them into the gallery space as resolved works. Unearthed is the journey of creating these new artefacts out of the building blocks of painting.
