Hello there!

As you know, Roxane, Léa and I have been working on the reveal of the Parafolks. Today, we'd like to introduce you to one of our Para. She has an incredibly big passion for astronomy and loves music, reading and roller skating. When she graduated a few years ago, she moved in with her cat in this loft that she decorated herself. She had this huge custom bookcase made to put all of her astronomy books in!

So until we can show her up close, we'd like you to help us name her. Take a look at the poll below! As always, please keep this information and this picture a secret until we reveal the screenshot along with her name sometime next week :)Take care and stay safe!Alex

Edit: The winner is Maggie, thanks everyone for voting! This post is now public and the video is out! https://youtu.be/DIqTswEEcL0

Sasha fits, also I see her shadow!

Sydney Tofel

I love the name Maggie! It reminds me of TWD ☺️

Stacey Dunnachie

I keep coming back to look at this picture because it is so gorgeous! 💓

Kiera Pozzobon

I... love... that... loft... I am so excited to build with this game!!! The Sims could never, and that lighting. SO PRETTY!!!!

Simmons

Wow, this is beautiful! I think I'll go with Sasha, nothing against the other names but they feel too basic.

PastelTigger

Honestly, i went with Michelle but they all seem kinda plain. Absolutely in love with the build tho, Keep up the great work!

mamc1234

Roxanne would've been perfect in my opinion but Sasha will do 🙂

Kaity_Smo

Maggie is adorable! Just putting it out there. SUZIE! Is cuter!

Seán Matthews

Maggie instantly stood out to me. (I like Sasha too though so I'm happy with it winning too)

ladyteruki

Sasha is my favorite but I always find it hard to pick a name without knowing the facial features of a creation. But Sasha could work for many backgrounds so I decided to go with that. But more importantly : wow. And I mean, WOW. We'll be able to build something like that in the game ? WOOOoooOOOW. Did I tell you how much I'm impressed ? There definitely has been improvements in lighting since the first previews we saw, but there's something else here, about the volumes and use of space. Honestly even without a face reveal (but we know she has short hair !), I'm impressed. Can't remember whether I mentioned that.

Trishy

I lobe the name Olive or Oliver for the cat!

Simtroverted

Whoa, it looks amazing. Jaw-dropping!

Morgan LF

The room is just amazing!! I can not wait to be able to play this game!! 😁😁

Mariel Rojas

I can't wait to meet her! Her house looks stunning omg

Patrick Viana

i was zooming the pic and i think i just saw a bra. is that a bra or i got it wrong? OMG that detail it`s just perfect.

Melanie

OK Alex.....you are a dang sneaky guy!! and OMG, I adore it! "Name the Para BUT let us show you her home first!" LOL I'm astounded and blowen away! The details are knockouts, the decor is delightfull, and "her" shadow is winsome! What a beautiful stage you and the team have set up for us to study. Thank you!! All week I have been comming back to your post and zooming in and out studying the items, lighting, all the little details placed around and I'm itching to see more! Which I'm sure was the intent...LOL..well I belive you all have succeded! I can't wait! The details and feeling of reality.....WOW. This is sooo missing in other simulation *cough* games. Keep blowing our minds Alex, Lea, Roxane.....you all are an awsome team!! Stay safe and keep dreaming with us....Blessed be folks.

Simmons

Does this mean you're going to reveal the Parafolk next week or just reveal the winner of the name chosen?

Ludivine

hâte de de rencontrer cette demoiselle! Ce loft est magnifique! Bonne santé à tous

Lissa

ohmygodohmygod i’m so excited

TnT_Terry

Sasha for sure, and if cat is male then should be Boris, if female then Misha. I get this secret agent vibe here and that loft is amazing!

Bianca J

Would it be possible to get a snapshot of her cat?

PuffinFledgling

will that studio be in the game I hope everything is interactive! :)

Lisa Madeline Forsvik

This is incredibly stunning! I see her shadow, and there was a mention of a cat, I'm zooming in on the picture trying to find it! 😅 I like the name Sasha the best!

SalemPlays

Every time I look at this picture I find a new little detail and the ammount of care you put into decorating it's just breathtaking! The little reading corner by the bookcase, the coat hanging in the kitchen, the tiny soap bottle by the sink, the bycicle under the stairs! I love it all! Super excited to meet our first Para!

Vicarious Human

Sasha makes me think of a range of possible characters. In the activities mentioned that she takes part in Sasha seems sophisticated beyond her years. Yet roller skating gives her a "fit" vibe that is also fun. Sasha= Athletic, very intelligent, AND mysterious!

Tropes

Maggie has a space shuttle neon light by the kitchen bar. If it was a Sasha she would have a neon soyuz rocket.

Mo Des

I love how there are little imperfections in the loft (the crooked couch, the way the stools aren't perfectly aligned, the wood of the table, etc) and also the hanging plantssssss are so cute!! I'm so happy with this, I keep coming back to the picture and zooming in to absorb every little detail

Kaie

Oh my gosh! I love this so so much! Great work you guys! I can't wait until I get to play this game. It's gunna be freaking awesome.

Danica Savic

Why is the name Michelle so unpopular? xD The screenshot looks amazing, can't wait to see parafolks ^^

Eren

Sasha is so close to first place KEEP VOTING EVERYONE LOL

Yana Tso

WOW the loft looks so amazing! I love it! English is not my first language but I went with Maggie because it’s cute ☺️

Camilo Quintero

look at the videooooo on youtube OMG the quality oh my Gooooooooooooooooood

Bianca J

Guys!, the video blew my mind - The amount of detail, just wow

Jason S

Saw the video on youtube.. OMG Alex, really can’t wait for the reveal of Maggie !!

C

IM CRYIN

Ren J

I want to live here - looks incredible. :) Seriously, so excited to be watching it all unfold. The evolution of the simulation revolution. Cannot wait to play!

Maya Appavoo

will this lot be playable for us??

Catty

I am freaking out so excited for this game <3 <3 Her movements in the shadows look so pretty

bob lazuli

Aww i missed it 😭 good name guys tho

HitchToons

can't wait for this, we need an alternative from the Sims , EA ruined that franchise. If Cities skylines can destroy SimCity then you will have no problem dude. keep up the great work

Mitsu

Someone saying what we're all thinking. I completely agree with this. <3

Denise Dodge

I missed the poll. Nancy would have been my vote. =^..^=

Noeul

I think it would be cool to have non-north american names too! The Vietnamese and Haitian communities have had big cultural impacts in the lives of Montrealers. I suggest a Vietnamese and a Haitian name :)
