It is basically my laptop. It's old. I keep it as empty as i can and don't save things but basically it gets filled up somehow??? And yeh, it just struggles sharing CPU tho I closed all my apps so i dunno whyyyyyyyy But it's ok i made like 5 takes so i shall use another take :)

Hi there, I don't know what are you use for recording video but do you know you can plug blue yeti to your phone? Then you can record video with sound from yeti at the same time. After that, you can export audio from video file and edit it in audacity. What you need is adapter USB to USB-C or Micro USB (depends from your phone). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ka-oA-u_vCE

(i did lo fi just simply coz it is bg and no one will hear it and taking out the blue yeti is an ordeal haha (i'm recording in the day and the blue yeti will pick it up and my apple headphones do not!!!) :) I'm going to check that out now! you're a lifesaver!

It works on the iPhone as well at least with a voice recorder. Some people make podcasts or interviews this way. Just a phone + external USB mic, quiet room and you don't need to bring with you all that recording equipment to made simple interview. If you want to record video using external mic you'll need to instal some video recording app from the app store like Movie Pro, Pro Cam 3, etc. Maybe that could be a temporary solution for your problem with those gaps without buying a new notebook. If those gaps still will be appearing the problem might be cause by mic, not the notebook or hard drive. Any way good luck ;)

Tasmai!!! Thank you so much!!! It just arrived AND IT WORKS!!! I recall looking into it in the past and finding i needed 2 different chord adapters and it was $$$ but i found a cheap single chord attachment and it works! I'm beyond elated! THANK YOUUUU You just made my life that much easier!
