ETA - I know I wanted to use ur names in the pilot, but according to the stats on the trailer most viewers left mid intro, soooo I may just cut to the chase and shorten the intro, so you're names won't make it in, unfortunately!! BUT you did make it in the trailer, so there's that, right?!  ^.^

Remember once it’s on the internet, it’s out there for ever. If you’ve decided to keep your identity quiet people will learn to respect that (Life of Boris would be a good example of someone who has done this very successfully) but it’d up to you mate. I know it’s just Patreon but don’t give in to pressure to show your face if you don’t want to.

Just went back and had a look at the pixelated pic, top half of your face would prolly be a bit much... Most private youtubers who show themselves wear a mask, shades, and hat

Like TP10 said: once online it can never truly be deleted. Weigh it up, Aussie: (potentially) more subscribers for a channel on a video-sharing platform vs. your entire privacy. Bear in mind that you're also a young, white female. . . so the odds of being doxxed/stalked/harassed are like 20-fold those of a male's.

Who said i'm a young white female?? :p I'm actually a doberman! ;) jokes aside..... such bad things can happen, and so many women show their face...I feel sometimes too paranoid- but also it is a reality. That being said...I feel very confident I wont get much of a following- the concern is will i get that one person....?? Who knows. I'll....definitely reconsider. I'm at a loss almost. it's a catch 22. Stay small and don't show eyes = less likely to be doxed. Show eyes, grow channel, possibly get doxed lol... Regardless. Just eyes....probably won't do much harm at all. >.<

Just eyes will probably be okay, so long as all other factors are accounted for. It's just a question of whether or not it's worth it just for a higher digital number underneath your 'Subscribed' button.

subscribers isn't the main motivation for it. I feel like it would help my role plays be more effective. Alternatively as i've discussed I may just turn them to being simply audio only, or simply just focus at the task at hand (hands, haha. that's a pun there!) ....but even then, i feel it is lacking. I enjoy watching Roleplays myself and I feel like eye contact would go a long way, personally. But again, still many things to continue to weigh out and conceal if I do go ahead. :)
