I was recording last night when....my beloved Blue Yeti carked it. It's cactus :(

I feel like obstacles keep getting in my way everytime my channel picks up...

nerve damage
chronic throat issues
deleted channel
dead yeti the second I want to upgrade and expand my audio tech

I had a good sook. And now I either spend my Christmas cash on another second hand blue yeti....or I dunno....

Honestly, making ASMR is my passion (as in i am willing to SUFFER for it, for the craft, for you guys) but it's starting to make me feel like i'm being sent signs to stop, maybe i'm being punished. I dunno....

I was really excited having a new mic/equipment along side my blue yeti and the new possibilities. I'm just honestly disheartened. Other channels would have fancy new equipment and can get better, but here i remain...stagnant....it just makes me feel disappointed.

Sorry i'm such a bummer. I'm just honestly upset about it right now. And i don't know whaat move to take going forward...

It was 2nd hand and you use it a lot. There's perfectly logical explainations for why it broke - you are not being "punished" or "sent signs" that you need to stop ASMR. :) Do you know anyone who may be able to fix it for you?

I could ask, i dunno if its the cable or the mic. i dunno how to tell, but it wont work with my laptop OR phone so i know it's broken in some way. A chord isn't much so i could try that first.....hmm I think i broke it. I heard a hum and unplugged it while it was recording i think or while the program was open?? And then the program crashed. then the mic wouldn't work anymore. would that short the mic components or the cable?
