What are typical Aussie Christmas nights like? Aside from this year of course. I understand that it's in the middle of summer over there so my head just jumps to campfires in the yard roasting marshmallows and sausages for some reason. That and Surfing Santa of course. Anyways, tangent over. As for a request - something Christmas-y I suppose but I can't exactly nail down what specifically. I'm sorry for not being entirely helpful here!

Christmas night?? The religious types might go to midnight mass, otherwise in my family we celebrate on Christmas day and even boxing day too! On Christmas Day one of my family members host a lunch (sometimes we host), we all bring a plate, and talk and play games and eat! Some families go to the beach or a park or whatever...but on Boxing day for us we go to this national park, play some footy, go for a long walk, have a picnic and share all the leftovers from christmas or a BBQ (you were right with the idea of sausages), it's really fun! Almost always get sunburnt! Might be a different scene over there huddled by fireplaces I imagine!!! hehe, that's ok, i'll see what I come up with!
