I know i'd be thinking to leaning on dark because it's easier on the eyes....but i kinda like the look on the light one...but yeh that would definitely hurt eyes!!

I'd say dark. It makes the blue stand out more. The light one is nice too since it gives the image a ghost vibe.

the blue part is in for just a few seconds and isn't terribly important to stand out i don't feel so don't let that only reason sway you! It's meant to imitate a shadow puppet show - so i suppose whatever resembles it more?? But the darker yes, it's easier on the eyes!
