I love these recordings you do when it's just your voice. Self confidence... I love cats. I've learned a lot about self-confidence from cats. Scary sounds or unfamiliar humans send my kitty wisely running for cover.... but she cannot be made to submit or beg for mercy. Try, and there will be a fight to the death. When she wants pets, she lays down with half her body on my computer keyboard, saying "I want. I'm here." When she wants her food bowl filled, or a little nibble of something I'm eating, she gives me a gentle brush with her paw, not enough to scratch, although she could rip my skin to shreds if she wanted to. She never imagines in a million years she would ever be told no. And If I don't respond "correctly" the first time, she tries again. I love cats.
