Yes so a light cover on the NT1a does not protect against plosives, now i know - HAHA

Also, BOY does it pick up EVERY SOUND.

And I much prefer the zoom, what do you think?

Sorry i listened to this 10x but i just couldn't concentrate so i hope i didn't say anything too weird I kept zoning out, haha

Random qn- what topics should i talk about in the future party ramble video? to the viewer, and in the car when the viewer probably sleeps. (so it's whispered)

That southern accent was great! I thought the regular American was good too but it’s hard for me to notice any errors. The other accents were good, way better than I can do lol. Also love the zoom. I do like the nt1a for whispers but like you said it picks up everything. Sorry I’m really bad with coming up with topics 😬

Ricky Gervais, ASMR Eliza, and Christian Bale have lovely British accents you can find plenty of online for practice. One thing I've noticed about the British way of speaking that isn't specifically about the accent itself, but will help you sound more British nonetheless - they often repeat the subject and verb of a sentence at the end. Examples: "He's a cheeky chap, that one." "He's a cheeky chap, he is." "They've done a bloody good job, they have." "He quite takes the piss, he does." For US Southern, there are actually several varieties. Try Jodi Foster in Silence of the Lambs for West Virginia. Jeff Foxworthy's redneck dictionary. Former US President Bush jr. for Texas.

Oh really? haha, my friend always says my southern is so put on hahaha! (which i mean, it is, tbf! haha) Yeh, i'm not great at accents, haha!! Yay we are team zoom! haha It's meant to be low noise but that i'm not so sure and if i had closed the window perhaps it might have been a good choice, i'll need to keep testing it and learning about it :)

Thanks for the accent examples!! Dang that is a great observation!! I feel a lot of it is stressing the vowels too, lengthening words out like that, like a "drawl" too. It's almost the STYLE than the pronunciation so much. But yeh, the do that, another one i know is : "That's how it goes, innit?" - they always say innit!!
