Subject: An update to GST (Patreon)

I  wanted to give you a heads-up about a small change to required GST on Patreon pledges. Patreon already adds GST to certain benefits for  patrons residing in Australia, but beginning September 1, 2022,  it has been determined by local Australian authorities that we must apply Australian GST to additional benefits (benefits not previously  subject to Australian GST). If you are pledging to a tier that includes  one of these benefits, you may see an overall increase to their tax  rate.
