Marty Shambles

Thanks for the play recommendations! I’ve got some reading to do.

Dergon

Since Brian likes to read the comments: I hope you have a beautiful and non-crass rest of your day! (Same for everyone else who sees this)

Förfäders spår

I'm pretty sure at least one percentage point's worth of "gerbert affected me negatively" votes were discounted due to hanging chads

'Bortion Scott Card

Just said "BOBUS" very loud at my desk. So glad I work from home.

The Cube of Orbus

I must be cursed or something. Whenever anyone I follow does one of these they never answer my question. Understandable, my questions are usually dumb, but still.

John Leavitt

RE: Westerns. WATCH JOHNNY GUITAR IT CAN BE FANCY MOVIE TIME THE WHOLE THING IS PEOPLE HAVING TENSE CONVERSATIONS IN ROOMS ABOUT GENDER, JOAN CRAWFORD IS IN IT AND ALL THR BAD GUYS ARE PATRIARCHY

Ben

If I am allowed to ask a question on a Q&A I would love to hear who your favorite techno artists and/or dj’s are Josh.

The Worst of All Possible Worlds

to name a few: jeff mills, derrick may, carl craig, richie hawtin (esp. plastikman), kyle hall, louisaah, ben klock, steffi

Gorbant

Thanks for taking the time to answer questions! I forgot to call out the Deus Ex interstitial in my Q, but I'm glad to hear it was as fun to record as it sounded. Don't feel obligated to constantly top them each time. I like the mix of low-key breaks and highly produced Christian conversion montages and/or meticulously plotted radio spinoff horror.

As someone's who is half way through listening to Whit's endless summer and no understanding of US Christian media prior, you keep alluding how melted the 2010+ stuff is. It'd be nice to have a reference point of this. Ignore this if you've covered this relatively recently and I've not seen it.

Nemo

As someone who writes radio drama for my job, I really appreciate you examining Odyssey from that perspective and taking it seriously as media (as much as anyone can). It's always interesting. Also thanks for answering my question!

Paula Sulpice

Omg I'm so disappointed in myself that I immediately recognized Brian's Odyssey reference

Andrew T. Wilson

As someone from North East Georgia the idea that a person who has never frequented the outlet mall in Commerce has read Cold Sassy Tree is genuinely shocking. I always just assumed that the only people who had ever read that book were people from around here born before 1985.

Förfäders spår

the hydraulic press channel interstitial was excellent, the finnish accent tends to elude a lot of people, and while I’m not finnish myself, I’m cautiously prepared to say brian is not one of them

Adri Tiesinga

Lynden, WA mentioned, let's gooooo

Leo Curtis

I'm always afraid of suggesting things I like in case you hate them, but I would absolutely love to hear you guys discuss the game "NieR: Automata" on the podcast.

Wilko

I first came across TWOAPW on YouTube and I can honestly say, that these are one of the few long-form video essays I've enjoyed watching more than once. I get, that they're a ton of work to make, but I think you're pretty great at those, too.

Breathplay

i do not mean this as a serious suggestion but i personally speaking as a sicko would find great pleasure in two hours of Brian and A.J. trying to make sense of Basic Channel

Breathplay

Brian on his Charlie Kaufmann shit with that novel concept I'm Thinking of Ending Whit's

By Tove!

I've listened to *The Visit* episode 4-5 times by now. Top tier episode

Breathplay

after all that Sturm und Drang, I think Whit's endless Summer could use an onsen episode i.e. the Hawaii episodes

Woke Tryhard

I can’t believe nobody has come after y’all for “Chapelle” Roan.

Izzy Gil

I gasped when I heard
