Thanks for answering my Venga Boys question! Also funny story, but I had a college friend who told me she would download songs onto her moms phone growing up and set them as her ringtone as a prank, and one day she set her ringtone as Boom Boom Boom and it went off for the first time during a Sunday morning service and I'm pretty sure she got grounded for like several weeks for doing this. Also, the visual of a Snoopy confederate flag is hilarious and terrifying

Can't wait for the 100th anniversary special.

OMG I've been listening to y'all for years and had no idea what you looked like! 😂 It's nice to put faces to the voices ! Maybe I'll be able to tell who's who now 😆

Gorbant

Loved the convo about your editing styles during my commute! Based on the karaoke question, I now want a Jordan Peterson does Rainbow Connection moment...

Camoose

Vegitales episode when? XD

Dergon

Them starting with "we have limited time and can't get to all the questions" then by question two going off on a Six Flags tangent for ten minutes rules, actually.

GusDeWit

My nigga Brian has LUXURIOUS hair. Josh looks like Riley Quinn if he were harry potter. AJ, no notes.

GayPunkRock

... I thought I knew which of you was which, but before I pressed play I was incorrect on all my guesses :0 I clearly have assumptions abt voice personality that I need to overcome. I love that y'all got the cedar fair/six flags merger stuff correct. I worked for one until the new year and uhhh. yeah. "six flags entertainment" is the corp, and the licensing is technically usable for all but I don't think they're gonna merge them, so the individual parks maintain a uniqueness.

Just took 10 points of psychic damage from the attempt to pronounce "Geauga Lake," lol. Though the story of the downfall of that park is pretty interesting - it was briefly the biggest amusement park in the world after Six Flags bought it, then bought the Sea World across the lake and combined the two. (For the record, it's gee (soft g ) - aww - guh (hard g)

Dergon

*gets on knees and supplicates The Great I Tim* "Pleeeeeaaaaase, dear Grunting God, I NEED a podcast of Brian's opinions on a mediocre 90s sitcom that provided a lot of background noise to my childhood. In your name we pray, amen."

Paula Sulpice

I recognized the cashew chicken AIO reference! One if my most listened to cassettes as a kid!

Loquin Britton-Herndon

Well dang, Carowinds is owned by Six Flags so I can't point at it as the surprise third thing. I haven't been in as many years as y'all have been alive but I presume it's still Nascar six flags. None of you look like I thought you would, but not in a way that causes cognitive dissonance except maybe some jealousy of Brian's hair.

Josephine

I will say I've seen josh and Brian before on traditional scrench but I didn't expect AJ to look like your dad's buddy who's a music technician. He seemed more erratic in my eyes because of the horse corner

Harry

I'm gonna say it's AJ - Brian - Josh in terms of who I'd trust to give me quality beer recs

Gorbant

I took similar psychic damage. Growing up I always thought it was mediocre (this was before the public conscience moved on Sea World) compared to Cedar Point, but it was a gem for the area. The one wooden coaster it had constantly felt like it would fall apart as you rode it. You're right that the history is very interesting. The rise and fall of the park would make for a good 4-episode miniseries!

The ghost manual does not seem to have ruled out sledding!

I Love Brian Alford's Bible Corner

I didn't know Carowinds had changed hands! My mom's first job was as a "soda girl" there, which meant she walked around with a tray of sodas, and the soda mostly ended up on her instead of in the cups.

I feel you guys about the personal success vs hellscape things. I'm about to jump from college professor to executive director at an immigration law clinic. Just turned 40, so might as well.

No one said you have to live on Bob.

The time, effort, and enthusiasm you guys bring to this pod makes it shine. Thank you for all your hard work and vulnerability, especially in these awful days. It is meaningful.

Wouldn’t a city where everyone in the world lived in it just be kind of like New York? Also, in the year 2525 is a great song !
