On this episode of Fancy Movie Time with Brian and A.J., the Fancy Lads make their way to Denmark and declare themselves God incarnate as they cover Carl Theodor Dreyer's 1955 miracle-fest: Ordet. Do the film's inherent theatricality and electrifying performances make it a Fancy Feast? Or does its oppressive atmosphere and unrelenting tension make it a Failure to Fancy? One thing's for sure: this is most definitely a zombie movie.

I'll agree that I found the whole "equate the interpersonal movie with the Civil War" aspect of Banshees tiresome, but that was more due to the whole aspect of it being treated as if it was a conflict that came seemingly out of nowhere and just kept escalating to a point of madness. Which, like, it wasn't. It *really* wasn't.

I have a fancy movie for you: Track of the Cat (1954). I went into it thinking "Oh sure a Robert Mitchum western", but it is so much more
