The lads and special guest Trevor Strunk (No Cartridge, Story Mode) take up the mantle of the Chosen Undead as they attempt to link the fire by climbing the trap-filled Snake Fortress of video game culture that is Dark Souls. They discuss difficulty settings in video games, the pernicious gatekeeping of gitting gud, and what Dark Souls can teach us about surviving an apocalypse.

At the same time KH2 and Twilight Priness were holding your hand, Atlus was making some of the most brutally difficult and obtuse rpgs of all time. Capcom was making a killing on Monster Hunter, and RE4 came out with the most intense, difficult first 30 minutes in the history of gaming. Saying "Japanese games suck" is like those losers who say "80s rock sucks" Like, no man. Poison and Whitesnake suck, listen to more bands.
