Honestly I really like when a good story can weave in little moments that don't have to be wildly dramatic or foreshadowing something significant. That's one of the things I love about Dorohedoro, the relationships between the characters feels a lot more meaningful after seeing them chatting casually and little snippets of them just hanging out. Also I just love Gwens expressions here

This is more of an establishing moment but I do think zero stakes downtime interspersing high stakes is essential in plot flow cos I know I get fuckoff exhausted if the plot goes from stress point to stress point nonstop
