I don't plan on continueing Voyage anytime soon unfortunately. One Piece is just not a setting that seems to click with me, I could try and force myself to write it but that never goes well so I decided to focus on the other works that I can do instead.

Good grief he is getting a very scary build with his rolls. First he's a spooky accurate and smooth killer that knows where to shoot before you even move, and now he has an actual A.I. backup that will cause all sorts of chaos for him. Hell Giffany almost beats out the precognition in usefulness in a cyberpunk setting.

Ok so my first idea about beating the mission by unleashing the Blackwall AIs and unleashing the second digital apocalypse might just be a go after all. And having a completely loyal AI like that can be used for all manner of munchkin shit. He’s got his own netrunner in his head that can do all manner of data mining, stock playing, digital thievery and searching for him. Bro, go to the Militech bunker in Dogtown and get that horrifying mech so that she can get an attack mech body for her as well as the canto and gun. They might not have Blackwall bullshit going on but that’s an immediate upgrade to his arsenal if Giffany can interface with them all. Also Becca’s here yaaaaaay. I’m still a Gloria and Lucy man but Becca is fun. Though I don’t see Grimm joining the crew. Sure he’d want to hang out with them but I’d also feel he would be honest about his goals in tearing the corps a new asshole and wouldn’t want them to get caught in the crossfire. Can’t wait to see more and I hope you feel better soon bud! Also at this point I feel you might as well make this its own standalone story on the fanfic websites. It feels clear it’s not going anywhere.

For all intents and purposes, Giffany is basically Alt without the entire city as servers but is instead actual magic ai that goes by magic ai rules. Giffany from the getgo is better than all human netrunners due to being living code unlike Engrams or other AI, but not quite good enough to just go in Blackwall without training. Funnily enough, compared to Grimm... Maine's crew just cannot keep up. Grimm is a one man army in both physical and netrunner sides now. He will definitely interact with them though.

I call absolute bullshit. Goddamn Gacha Sentience man. Seriously having an AI like that on your side basically makes you a one man Crew as an edgerunner. Without Cyberware of any kind. All you need is an agent for her to piggyback and she’ll act as your netrunner.

So NETWatch will def be gunning for Grimm when he lets Giff do her thing, also magic AI is still AI and while the current countermeasures for AI might not work perfectly I doubt they wouldn’t work at all against her so we have that drama to look forward to. even if he keeps GIFF doing stuff only on the level of a meatbag netrunner it’s only a matter of time before she tips her hand either to protect him or because she wants to ‘help’

Dude Grimm is literally perfect to take on Cyberpunk right now. He can’t be Hacked because he has no real Cybernetic Enhancements, and he has an actual AI that not only is HardCoded with Loyalty towards him, but is also a Yandere so will absolutely defend him with absolute aggression which has no downsides for him outside the dating pool because of the Loyalty. He’s also a Badass in a fight so it’d take Adam Smasher or V to take him down in a fight. Adam cause his ICE is the best in the world thanks to Arasaka not wanting their Borg to be easily taken down. V cause they’re a freak of nature and also armed with an AI copy of the second best Hacker in the worlds history. He only loses if the Corpo go full Nuclear!
