Mylael

Good chapter, while I see where the Chief is coming from he's still a piece of shit both for having this conversation while his in the hospital and the veiled threats he's dropping to get him to comply. As it stands I view it the same as I did in the show, he's desperate to cover up that students did what the Heroes failed to and not allow public perception to be changed.

definitely want to see more, especially want to see peoples reaction to the fact he isnt human anymore.

What exactly were the tickets you forgot about? Cause I didn’t realize there were tickets to be used.

I agree with Myleal, the cops keeping hero society propped up, by hiding the fact that students had to do the professionals job is dirty. The fact the police chief resorted to threats, instead of talking to them like adults and trying to convince them without them first shows that he is a POS. He claims to be going that route to spare the students, I call bullshit. If that were his real reason, he would talk to them, reason with them, try and convince them first. Nothing against you Bronz, you portrayed him the way the show did, and I think that is the right call. As for the rest of the chapter, I had to stop immediately after reading the first sentence about miscalculation detected and spent the next 15 minutes wondering if Hakari somehow lost the diamond tickets. The reason why came back to me about the time I got to the middle of the chapter, but damn, I almost gave myself a heart attack before I could keep reading the start of the chapter. 😋 I loved this chapter and am curious how the next few are going to go. Looking forward to what Mirko has to say to our dear Hakari.

Your Jordan's Are Fake

Really loved what you did in this chapter. Hakari has just been in a life or death, superpowered slugfest to save himself and others that left him horrifically injured and took everything and the kitchen sink to survive just to fight long enough to get bailed out by Endevour and pull a draw, the little girls letter being the only point that feels anything like he did well. Then as soon as hes awake, hopped up on a cocktail of painkillers he gets told that he technically committed a crime but dont worry they have swept it under the rug. Hakari's Yakuza life shinning through again with his trait of telling authority figures where to stick it when he feels it needed, its nice to see that this is a low point where a different shounen hero might of just settled with "Oh well, i saved people" Hakari is genuinely rung dry and then squeezed even harder (I empathise alot with that feeling) Also Nice going with the police chief, i know its what he said in canon but it did feel like you could see it as either him trying to save face OR him not wanting to see a young hero get crushed by the beaucracy before hes even bloomed.

Your Jordan's Are Fake

Hope Miriko and Hakari's friends come through and help him bounce back. Sex is cool but a good support network is even cooler 😎

This one's not in the collection, just FYI.
