A/N: Heyhey people, as you all know for the last week I have been very emotionally impacted by Edgerunners Season 2 and honestly, Cyberpunk has to be one of my favorite settings ever. Even before Edgerunners 2 was out, I have been thinking about making this fic for a while now. A more comprehensive fic in the Cyberpunk Universe with some crossover elements. I hope you guys will enjoy this fic.

Synopsis:

This is Night City, there are no happy endings here. Not for folks like us. Wrong City, Wrong People.

That is, until a man wakes up with a special adaptive prototype cybernetic heart implant without any memory or recollection. But for once, the right person is in the right city.

I am really fucking excited for this and glad to see some of the Disco Elysium voices back, miss your fics on fiction.live. Also considering the title and the heart I’m taking a wild guess to say he can pull a Senator Armstrong later down the line and I’ll also be hoping for some sword autist bullshit too. Wondering what kind of other augments we will get from Metal Gear. Considering the shit that we saw in Edgerunners 2 episodes 10 and Phantom Liberty I am fully expecting Metal Gears to make an appearance; as if the world didn’t have enough trouble. Hopefully the heart will allow him to build a tolerance for cyberware as well. I’m not really hoping he goes full Borg but getting the main operating systems and some choice pieces while the rest of the setup is BioWare and his natural stats that he could build up. Overall really looking forward to this and how you’re going to include everybody in a condensed timeline. Maybe D can actually get his revenge, help Weak and Talia before they hit the point of no return, save Gloria and mentor David all that good stuff. And considering he’s still in Watson I’m kind of hoping he meets Roman first. I can’t think of what they would bond over yet but the kid needs someone that isn’t gonna use the kid and give endless amounts of trauma. Can’t wait for the next chapter dude, I’m really hoping we get to see it all this time.

You know, I've already said this, but I would really want someone with supernatural powers getting dropped in night city, with enough power to not fall directly into the hands of a corpo but still not overly broken to the point where there moves are easily ignored, Akira Gojo just after finishing Hellsing would be great for example, enough esoteric(working) bullshit to have corpos scramble for the new shiny toy that is as powerful as rogue AI but more manageable

The problem with that is that there really isn't much to gain for someone like Akira in Cyberpunk and doing Multiverse with Cyberpunk leads to me missing out a lot of stuff from that universe like cool ass implants which I want to engage in more this time.

Yeah, before Edgerunners 2 I thought Cyberpunk scaled a bit too low for a full story but after that, I feel like Metalgear fits right into the story, just more physical power to the amount of bullshit Netrunners and AI can pull this world. And Raphael will definitely be Chroming up, obviously not full borg like Smasher or Shaitan but probably enough to make a small village go insane due to the Insane tolerance his Heart will eventually give him.
