September 2026 Developer Log (Patreon)

I'm feeling good today :)
Release Schedule
The Caprini Breeding Program - v0.2, will be released mid-September. I don't have a date yet; it's a bit too early to tell. I'm aiming for Sept 20th.
The v0.2 patch will contain 16 base animations split between two scenes, and a significant expansion to the explorable areas. As usual, the free version will have only one new scene.
I took a few breaks in August but I'm feeling good, and I have some momentum this time around.
Monster Design
Monsters.... monsters are a key piece of the lore and planet, and I didn't want to just directly re-use some of the older monsters (i.e. Orgasm Hell v1 - the "ball", Orgasm Hell v2 - the swallowing thing, and 'OROMOTOR' from comic #1). I liked some of the ideas from these monsters, but I was kind of lazy with the design.
In the end, I settled for something kind of simple. There will be plenty of chances for more monster designs, anyway. It's weird... it's kind of hard to make a "novel" monster, let alone a "scary" one.
Doesn't help that nothing looks scary after you've been drawing and animating it for hours.
Marketing
I also spent some time marketing this time around. I'm now on F95, and I plan on trying out Newgrounds after v0.2. Itchio has been a bit of a struggle, but I was able to get two of my games (Caprini BP and Last Summer) relisted in search & browse.
I'm not sure if there are any other outlets for NSFW games... I'm open to ideas. I'll only post the free versions to these websites.
I'm also back on twitter with a NSFW account. I might try Pixiv or some others later.
Momentum & Next Month & Expectations.
My heartfelt thanks once again to all my supporters and followers :)
I'm really enjoying developing on my new Twine/Sugarcube platform. It feels good to work with, which will stop me from re-doing everything from scratch and sinking tons of time into code development. Instead of trying to fight Twine and make a visual novel, it feels nice to embrace a text-based environment and focus on story.
I've never pushed a project past two patches, so I wanna get as far as I can before the momentum leaves me. Expect Planet Caprini to be my main focus until the end of 2026, but my other projects will always be brewing in the back of my mind, and might resurface now and then.
