Crimson Veil 5.6 now available to all Patrons! (Patreon)

The latest version of Crimson Veil is now available on Windows and Mac to all Patrons! (Mobile version will be released at a later date)

Check the changes below:

•2 new contracts added to Vampire Route. ("The Daughter of the Darkwood" and "Shadows of Stone and Blood")

•Liora added as playable partner.

•Blood Tomes added to teach Blood Skills to party members

•"Bite" skills are treated as "Drain" type now instead of "Physical".

•Text font in battle updated.

•Type effectiveness now appears in battles.

•Surrender skill added to Vampire Route.

•Additional skills and stat buffs added to various Pets.

•8 Images added to Picture Gallery. (162 total)

•Minor Bug fixes and additions to the Dev Room.

Tier 2 and higher patrons can also choose to download uncompressed image files for the game! For file size reasons, I've had to compress the images for the latest releases, and it has affected the quality and clarity of many of my illustrations. With this pack, you can now view the game as it was intended!

Awesome! :D Though I'm hitting a bit of a snag, I booted up the latest save file included in the download and can't seem to get Eve to activate her new Gorgon quest, any help on it?

You need to clear all the previous quests first before it will appear! Finish the dryad quest, then return to Humilem!

Hey, so, just downloaded it, and the completionist in me screamed as my old save picture gallery didnt update. Not a problem, but for whatever reason when I made a new save I couldnt access the dev room on the hunter route. Worked fine for vampire. Is there some pre requisite I've missed or has it broke?

Using old saves in newer versions can screw something’s up. I recommend using the included saves or starting a new game. Also, be sure to check on the new dev room code, as it was updated for 5.6.

Thanks for the quick reply <3 unfortunately I'm not sure thats whats doing it. I just re downloaded and didnt move my saves over and I still have the same problem :l

Which problem exactly? The issues with the dev code or the new pictures in the gallery not appearing?

The problems with the dev code. it is the new one from the post but when I click "Yes" it doesnt take me into the room. Vampire story it works fine. I can record a clip of it if necessary

Encountered a minor bug, when i used the bank note to buy the ignisite, the quest didn't progress and I could buy more ignisite until I finally used gold for it

Found this issue with the event. Try using 472839 for now. I will patch this up soon.

there is a bug with the master lab key when you use on the one of the doors or the chest it will be discarded, and you can't progress through the contact.

It was the Gorgan contract on the vampire route

That’s odd. It should only be discarded after using it on all 3 spots. I’ll look into it.

how to you find the power switch to turn the power back on in the new gogorn quest with Eve? I can't seem to find it in the cave system.

It’s not exactly in the cave system. There is a puzzle you’ll need to solve to gain access to the area that restores the power. Look for Energy Cells and a place to put them in!
