we have soOo many ghibli titles but for now i picked some popular ones to put here so that you won't be hit by confusion!!

some of you suggested that ponyo would be perfect for summer and while i agree with it and i 1000% love ponyo with all my heart i'm kinda worried that the theme will be too similar with our beach theme this month πŸ€”πŸ€” butt idk... you decide!!!

i added some emojis to put context in case you've never heard of that film before hahahaha 🀑 also if you have ideas for specific scenes to draw for certain titles feel free to say in the comments~~

okkk let's choose!!!

Kyra

If you do ponyo could do the underwater scenes or the top of the mountain looking out at the ocean

Gabbi Oler

Ponyo for the summer!! πŸŸβ˜€οΈ

Kora

i think a more grassy, foliage theme would be perfect for summer! besides the beach, when i think of summer i see lush gardens and flowers ( ⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝) so i'd love to see some scenery from arietty!

minteabun

the ocean town in kiki also has summer vibes!!

Alexandra

Ducky hot tub scene would be PERFECT for spirited away

caroline

the pictures are making me think a pokemon theme would be super cool at some point!

Olivia

That's a good point regarding Ponyo, maybe we should save that for next summer? Although I still think you could do a lot going fully underwater with the boat at the top of the screen or something.
