Hi everyone! Had an idea to do a qna to put on the site, so I'll be taking any questions on here. I want to see how this will work :)

The only questions I will be answering are anything involving Holt or Clayton's past or backstory (mostly because that is pertinent to future chapters), but anything else is fair game!

Hello! My questions for you. What are your main inspirations for Clayton and Holt characteristics and looks? Did you consider other monsters (such as ghost or vampires) for the duo before settling on a revenant and a werewolf? And finally, would there ever be a physical version of Dust and Dread? Would buy it off the bat.

Are there variants of werewolves in a similar vein as there seems to be vampires, or is it more specific as a curse? If we skipped forward in time to dust and dreads equivalent of the 21st century, what would be one big non-spoilery difference between our world and theirs?

I'm curious about some of the non-human background characters we've started to see! Regarding their design, are they based on existing cryptids/mythological creatures? Or are more just whatever looks cool? Also curious about narrative stuff like their role in society vs regular humans but maybe I should just wait for the story to get into that haha

Are cuckoo vampires capable of speech? I may be misremembering things but we don't ever hear it talk, only laugh. Can Clayton feel pain? Or warmth? If yes, to what extent? I imagine he can probably experience pain if the centipedes get crushed/injured (When he got shot in the back for example).
