It's happening!!! It's finally happening!!!

This has been the pages I've been waiting to finally do, and I am so glad I'm finally drawing them. I've always wanted a lycanthropy to feel more like a supernatural curse that still feels like a force of nature that cannot be understood. an looming inevitability that hangs on the fringes of your mind that presents itself when you finally relent. That's the scariest part of being a werewolf in my mind, and I hope it shows. here.

**EDIT

had to adjust some of the writing on one of the pages. Was originally rewritten, but I went back to my old lines since it read better. I think Clayton saying he isn't gonna let Holt kill anyone was a bit too much of a major statement that he can't know for sure he can do, so just leaving it to him asking holt to trust him just works better for me

OOOOOHHHH SHIIIIIT I'm so PUMPED! Man there are so many things about these latest pages that I love. First off, I think you’ve done an excellent job building up the slow dread of the inevitable werewolf transformation. Holt’s sheer terror in this chapter, as well as just how banged up he’s been progressively getting over the course of previous chapters (poor guy just can’t keep from getting shot!) do a wonderful job of ratcheting up suspense. I also love how Clayton breaks through Holt’s panic and manages to calm him down, if only just a little. It’s illustrative of their relationship, how they trust and care for each other, but it is also that SECOND of Holt relaxing that is enough for the Wolf to show up. The way Clayton and the rest of the world melts away is also haunting. Clayton is right there beside him, but even so Holt is ripped away from his comforting presence and is forced to confront the Wolf alone. It shows how isolating as well as terrifying the curse is. Like a chronic ache, the pain cannot be shared. And finally, I don’t believe Jo knows anything about driving trains! She’s just saying that! Can’t wait to find out either way next week Thank you for the excellent update.

Oooh yesss! I'm sad to see Holt in distress but WHOO BOIII am I excited for what happens next!

SigiSig

Kinda sad to know that Holt sees such horrors what he wants to fight back but all the horrors are normal people around them. Like the idea, this is really a curse, just loosing your mind.

Shannon O'Connell

Huh. For some reason, the second page won't load.
