What's New at Pure Angst VN Studio?

As you’ve mentioned before, I’ve decided to increase the content volume per release. Going forward, I’ll be aiming for 10 scenes per chapter instead of the previous 5. This means each chapter will have more playtime. With two releases per month, you’ll be getting significantly more content overall.

By now you know my writing and coding style, I don’t add filler or meaningless walls of text. Every scene and line of dialogue is written with the goal of heightening the angst. The increase in volume won’t come at the cost of that. I’m keeping the same focused philosophy.

Branching and Mini-Games

In WSoM, you'll find story branching where your decisions shape the gameplay. Many paths and scenes are mutually exclusive, so experiencing everything will require multiple playthroughs.

I'm also planning to add mini-games in future updates, but this will depend on what you (my patrons) want. I'll soon run a poll to gauge interest and see what types of mini-games you'd like to see. Stay tuned for the results!

Running two active visual novel projects with monthly updates, full translations, and continuous improvements takes an enormous amount of time and effort.
