Asking the important question. :DI can't remember if I already told you, but my hip surgery got postponed until December, so.. here I am, still struggling with pain and anxious for the operation. Also, next Thursday I have to fly to Japan for a week-long work trip which I would have gladly skipped in my current condition, but somehow they need someone who can speak Japanese there... I can already see myself standing by the airplane restrooms because I won't be able to sit for 23 hours straight... 8) Anyway, this might cause some delays in November updates because I have so many additional work related tasks before and after the trip. I apologize in advance!

No worries, IB. Airam is clearly in this for the long haul. Anyone who brings you chicken soup when you are not feeling well is a keeper!

2026-11-02 03:00 Yeah, Rain looks to wrap this up in one visit, I think ... T is lucky; he could have been sweet-talked into trouble. Instead he got a mentor, LOL! Don't worry about the hip surgery; they've gotten so good at it that it's now an outpatient procedure and you'll be walking pain-free in days.

Ah, they said I'll be in pain and walking on cruches at least for a month afterwards, but more like three months... T_T

Shouldn't be that bad. I've had both hips replaced, and they get you up walking around (with a walker) the same day. The first one took me about 3 weeks recovery and I never used any of the narcotic pain meds they gave me. Second one was even better.

Pst.... TC! Please stop "mansplaining" / minimizing G's situation. (Your assumptions about G's condition are wrong, but it's not my place to share her medical info.)

That prominent sign on the wall makes me wonder if there's going to be a tutorial soon ...
