January Patron Sketch #2 (Patreon)

A drawing with an actual story behind it...! My boyfriend Korppu is a pyrotechnician, and like every New Year, he was lighning up the sky this year too. Everything didn't go as planned and he took a heavy hit from a huge firework straight to his face. He wore full protection, yet the hit was so hard that it cracked his helmet and threw it off of his head.

He got his face and eyes full of burning gunpowder, but he got extremely lucky. He only got some minor damage on his eyes which healed pretty much on their own. He only had to avoid using his right eye, so he had to wear an eye patched for a week or so, looking like a pirate. ;) Ironically his fursona already had an eye patch on the very same eye. Life imitates art, huh?

Remember to follow instructions and wear protective glasses when you fire fireworks!
