new pro pic + banner for 2023 💫💕 (Patreon)

Happy New Year everyone!! 🥳 Just wanted to share this pro pic and banner I whipped up this weekend~ I update my avatar only once a year so it always feels like a big change. I loved incorporating more bold lineart into this piece! Maybe we really will go more graphic in 2023?? I always say I want to do more lineart but never fully commit hahaha. The banner is something I came up with while imagining a fun abstract way to represent the Chinese character 兔 / rabbit! As you know, it’s year of the rabbit and I love bunnies so what better way to represent the year with a cool graphic homage?

I’ll be posting the new avatar tomorrow and I can’t wait!! It feels very exciting to go bold pink~ I’ve always wanted to have a pink avatar but somehow it never worked out - in the past it’s been red, bright orange, mustard yellow and aqua blue.

Anyways, cheers to the new year ~ May 2023 be full of more new adventures. Let’s all continue to have more courage to try new things!
