I’m sorry your Ohio night out fizzled into a non-event — although it sounds like the bar staff at least kept things entertaining. And I’m truly sorry to hear about your neighbour’s brother. Nineteen… far too young. Heart-breaking. If there’s any comfort to be found, perhaps it’s that people will take more care on those roads — and the Amish might keep the reflectors on their carriages. A high price to pay, but hopefully it saves someone else. The cakes were a lovely touch — exactly the sort of thoughtful thing I’d expect from you. As for the baker — sounds exactly like the kind of petty crime Jake Atwood would throw himself into. I can already hear the next local update: “Officer Atwood apprehends rogue baker — charged with excessive sprinkle distribution.”

Sounds like you had a crazy week. I agree about the sprinkles. I don't like sprinkles on donuts, cake, ice cream, brownies etc. They are just too artificial looking and they don't really add any flavor.

You mentioned that this was a different kind of hangout, a more serious one, Lindsey. Well, I felt, it was a very thoughtful, reflective one 👍👍❤️, who also reflects the fact that life in general can not always be pure fun but can sometimes be a very tough game. Nothing is worse than losing a child. Although we might think the Amish could stand such a tragedy a little bit better/easier in their society, especially a mother's heart will always be affected (don't know a better English word) by this. When I visit the graveyard of my town, I have to pass a grave of a young girl who came to death on her motorcycle because of a much to fast driving idiot in summer 2024. And still, I often find her mother sitting at the grave, with that indescribably sad expression in her eyes - this is unbelievably heartbreaking. One last thing, about these sprinkles ... I am pretty sure the Amish absoluteley know/feel that someone who shows them so much empathy and respect, who regularly helps them and now even brings cake to their funeral, couldn't be responsible for such inappropriate sprinkles on the cakes, but that there must be another reason for it. Therefore I totally believe you needn't worry about it, Lindsey ❤️

She would be wearing that fucking cake if it was Halloween themed. You ask for plain cakes over here that's what you get. But your gesture was heartfelt, and kind and that would have been appreciated I guarantee. I know how kind you are. But it is pretty gutting when you try and it doesn't go quite right through no fault of your own.

Can I ask you to use cigarette holder and leather gloves? I can remember, you used them in your earlier streams
