In this month's wildcard video I take you on a tour around my new house! It's not done but it is done enough to move into and give you a good idea of what it's going to look like. I appreciate your support and encouraging words these past two years, I often think about them when working on it. 🥰

So is the homestead channel being deleted?

Your new home is looking amazing. Very much enjoyed the tour and looking forward to all the updates.

I hope you have a great time with the induction stove! I’ve had one for a few years and it’s amazing. It boils water faster than my kettle and doesn’t heat up my house the way gas did.

The (nearly) completed house 🥰. We’ve been there with you from the very beginning — from getting the diggers in to flatten the land and hoping to unearth a few arrowheads, to the nuclear-bunker/dungeon phase, to burying a 1,000-gallon bottle, to swinging on ropes to fix the roof, to finding a bargain staircase, and finally to painting the place like a museum. We’ve followed every step of the journey. Well done, Ms Tingles — you must be incredibly proud. Serious question, though 😐 Since Liberty gets some pretty harsh winters, won’t there be a cold draft coming up the staircase from the basement?

I am extremely happy for you, for your new home, which is very cool and impressive - it's bright, open and looks/feels very friendly, warm and inviting (I found no other words). And I like the fact that you enter the living area directly from the front door. That's not common here in Germany. Ok, we have the coat rack and stuff there, but we are wasting a lot of space with it. And there are some really cool thing in there - f. ex. this amazing wood-storage thing beside that incredibe fire place/woodfire stove and these remarkable burlwood tables. In my opinion, this entire interior design is harmonious and fits very well together and with the surroundings. And I LOVE this loft area up there in the middle of the treetops. It must have taken a lot of sweat and tears over the last two years, right? - and there is certainly still a lot of work to do - But when you see the result, it was (and is) absolutely worth it, Lindsey 🥰❤️

Right, how to you replace the lights when they go out. That Ceiling is high!

Wait, you are cooking on this floor, but the dishwasher and sink are a floor below? You are crazy.
