TUTORIAL: COLOR THEORY ✏️🌈✨ (Patreon)

Hi everyone! 🥰

Here is a brand new tutorial video for you! 😍 You all voted for a video where we study color theory (which is one of my FAV topics!) so in this tutorial I go over color theory in detail, plus how to use your knowledge of hue, value and saturation to boost your understanding and application of color in your art 💗

In case you’d like to use one of the references I bring up in the video, I’ve included those as attachments at the bottom of this post :)

Here are some other tutorials + guides to help you with this topic:

• How to Design Unique Characters (includes applying color palettes strategically to character designs)

• How to Shade (boost your rendering knowledge of light and shadow with this one!)

• Sketching & Lineart Tutorial (to help you learn how to create a good base before you color 🧡)

• How to Draw Faces (before coloring 💕)

• Full Rendering Walkthrough (if you want to see me create a detailed drawing from start to finish with explanation along the way ✨)

• Browse my custom color palette downloads here!

I hope you all enjoy and find the video helpful! 😍 It’s a longer one, so get cozy 💗 Stay tuned also for a new bonus video I’ll be sharing right after this for all Devoted Dragonfly members! ✏️

Love,

Lydia 💌
