October Info Post & Sneak Peak! 🧡✨ (Patreon)

Happy Saturday everyone! Can you believe it’s going to be October in just a few short days? Spooky season is upon us!! 🎃

The drawing you see in this post is actually a sneaky peak of my Inktober Day 1! It’s based on the original Inktober prompt list, and day one is “ring.” I’m so excited for Inktober to begin, and I’m also a little nervous! It’s going to be a huge challenge to create 31 ink drawings and stay consistent everyday for sure. But challenges are what help us grow, and it’s gonna be fun! 💖

A few new things in October:

• The October Tutorial: Since I will be participating in Inktober this year, things will get super busy! I will need to create the October tutorial earlier in the month and make sure that it is a tutorial that doesn’t take several days for me to edit and record. Thus, rather than hosting a vote next month I’ve decided to choose a tutorial that has been widely requested by you guys and will also be easier for me to manage (because it’s one of my favorite techniques!) So October’s tutorial will be... How to Paint Grayscale to Color! I’ll be sharing a great digital art technique where you take a grayscale drawing/painting and turn it into a fully colored art piece that looks like you never used grayscale to begin with. It will be very helpful for those of you who are still learning about color in your own work!
• The Bi-Monthly “Draw With Me” Video: This is for all you Big-Hearted Butterflies and above ($5+)! I will be recording another traditional drawing video where we take a step away from digital art, get cozy with a sketchbook, and draw 💖 Since it will be October, you’ll get to see my drawing process for an Inktober piece! And just like last month’s video, you’ll get to see a cameo of my kitten.
• Bi-monthly Patron Portrait submissions will resume in November: For those of you waiting on a portrait from this month, don’t worry! You will receive them in October 😌💖
