Drawing Process: Mermaid Redraw 🌟✏️✨ (Patreon)

Happy Saturday everyone! 😍🌼

Here's a little drawing process video for you to enjoy this weekend 💌 This drawing was sooo much fun but it was also a bit of a challenge! 🙈 I rarely do redraws so something I discovered while drawing is that it felt like I couldn't stray too far from the original, and I felt unsure of certain ideas and concepts I wanted to try out in case the redraw would end up looking too different. 😅 But then I realized that's the point of redrawing an older artwork! It's a wonderful way to observe how much your style has grown and changed, and change is a positive thing 😌 hehe anyways, I hope you all enjoy watching! 🍪

Stay tuned for an open PSD file and Procreate file of this drawing coming very soon for all Devoted Dragonfly patrons! 💌

Have a lovely weekend guys! 🌻

Love,

Lydia ✨
