Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, my PC suddenly stopped working. The CPU LED on the motherboard stays on when I try to power it up. I’ve spent the entire day troubleshooting — resetting the CMOS, updating the BIOS, reseating the CPU and other components — but the issue is still there.

After researching and testing everything I can, I believe the problem may be with the motherboard’s VRM. However, I don’t currently have spare parts to fully confirm whether it’s the motherboard, PSU, or CPU. I’ll continue trying to fix it, but if I need to order replacement parts, it may take a few weeks.

Because of this unexpected situation, I’ve decided to pause billing for now. This means you will not be charged.

Active members will not be billed.

Thank you all so much for your support and understanding. I truly appreciate it, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

Update 1:
I have to replace both the motherboard and the CPU. I wasn’t aware this was a common issue with ASRock AM5 motherboards. Check out this video for more details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmoN6D1roXM

Update 2:
I’ve successfully received the replacement components and I am currently testing everything thoroughly to ensure the system is fully stable and functioning correctly. I want to make sure that when I resume publishing, I can do so consistently and without further interruptions.

Due to the previously activated billing pause, Patreon has temporarily restricted my ability to publish new paid content. I will be able to resume normal publishing starting on March 13.

In the meantime, I will be sharing some updates and content on X to stay active and keep you informed while I finalize everything on my end. ✌️

Please don't feel bad about it. These are inconveniences that happen, you can't predict them.

☹️ Shit man. Hope you get your stuff repaired. My motherboard crapped out before too. PC would just shut off randomly. Truly a sad occurance.

fair man, i appreciate it, bout the pc, bet you have checked psu too, anyway ram thing happen, i never had an issue with g.skill anyway, is a pain when happen, so what i do is fix the pc and use it as backup or a looting pc but keep it in working state, so you can use at least for psu and gpu check since new one will have different motehrboard, ram an cpu, ssd, the only thing you can tranfer is the gpu or put an old one if you have, since is the most expensive piece, u only buy those when price are low and when you rlly need, last but not least, spend money on psu and take one with a 80 plus gold certification or cybenetics gold certification

I appreciate your comment. In the end, it turned out to be an issue with my ASRock motherboard—it ended up killing my CPU. I’ve updated the post with a video explaining the problem.

my pleasure, yeah Steve goes all the way inside the problem, i like him, 1000watt, lol, get an asus prime if u still wondering what to buy, good quality and no expensive compared to what it offers, and again, look to your psu certification and total power, ie if ur px max draw is 400 watt (heavy gaming, rendering) 700 is a must, i usually go for 850, due to better curve efficency

I ended up replacing everything except my cpu and motherboard until the end. Then ecerything worked correctly again. Im not sure if lightning ran in on my PC or if it was just old or overheated. But that did the trick. CPU and motherboard.

Sorry to hear that. I ordered a new motherboard and another Ryzen 7 9800X3D. I hope the RAM is okay because I bought a 128GB DDR5 kit when it was cheap. I don’t want to imagine how much it would cost me to replace the whole kit now.

impressive setup, should not concern ram, if this is the case, cpu seems suffered a burnt due to bad wattage management by asrock bios, stay with asus, i also auggest gigabyte but last gen has that pci annoying thing
