SMTL

Next week, SMTL V0.4 R version will be released, and we'll be able to talk about it a little more at that time.

There will be an extra scene, for everyone, next month.

ATC

I spent the whole week testing the game's new management system and created a few renders.

First of all, I'd like to say that SP's code is fantastic and works very well; there are a few bugs here and there, but nothing insurmountable.

While I was testing and putting together the academy’s schedule, I realized that I was losing that little something I love about AVNs: a well-crafted narrative.

Without realizing it at first, the game was losing its charm, its soul. The system was becoming too complex and restrictive.

So, although I'm keeping the university management and the ability to move freely within the campus, I'm returning to a more narrative-driven structure for the game as a whole. To put it simply, I'm removing all the roaming and purely sandbox elements from the game. I realized that the game wasn't the same anymore.

Don't worry, the game is still fun, sexy, and, above all, open to a whole host of possibilities. I'm keeping the structure open, but it will be through choices, not through an open-world-style menu. Sometimes you have to make mistakes to stay true to what makes a game special.

Anyway, after this brief detour into testing and game logic, we're back to the more artistic side of things. We only produced 50 renders last week, but work is picking up steam again.

There's still a lot of work to be done, and I can't give a reliable estimate as to when this update will be released, but I promise it will be out before the end of the year.

Don't forget the spoilers at the end of this Devlog.
