Yeah, that's the title (for now). I think I've mentioned this previously, but my workflow is kind of weird, so at the moment this WIP should be for the video for next month. This particular gif is actually from the futa alt (I made a WIP previously for the lesbian version). I think for WIP posts, I will simply give an update about what I was doing the last week, usually with some gif about what video it was for, including alt videos so y'all can see more what they are about. This week (and next, likely) I will be trying to finish this video for next month so I can be one step ahead of posting videos at all times. Ideally, I'd be even further ahead right now, maybe 2-3 months of work prepared in case something happens and I can't make something for an extended period.

Chances are, I will spend almost the whole of next week on just the physics of this one. It's enabled right now in this gif but it doesn't look super different from this angle other than on initial impacts, which is more or less good. I am mostly satisfied with the physics, but there's still a lot of jittering and situations where things that are supposed to collide just don't. In order to keep myself sane, I am only doing physics sim on Miku's hip area since that's the most relevant area for the video and I want to start improving the physics in small bouts to avoid getting discouraged. The physics here was 3-4 days of work.

Part of what I've realized is that the cloth sim is slow to realize change, so the fingers/hand in the gif don't cause much movement because they go so fast; they do have collision, but they aren't making any change as far as I can tell. I will try to fix that and other sporadic unstable physics things as best I can. As of now, the lesbian version doesn't have any physics because I was so unmotivated about it at the time I did it. I will look into getting physics there, but I'm not sure how it will look given the trouble with fingers here.

I already rendered the images from blender on the lesbian alt, but I will likely re-render anyway as I realized after looking at sw1 & sw2 that the original toon shader I used in sw1 was actually decent; there's some variable shaders in some recent videos (or maybe just ones in progress; I start so many projects and move between them that I lose track of what I did where), which I did because I was having problems with ones built into the models, but after realizing they can look good I will probably focus on using the toon shader (used in sw1 and I think all previous videos other than on Miku in sw2). The models in this gif use the toon shader, but the lesbian alt uses the goo shader, which looks good but essentially doesn't have shadows which I kind of rely on. The shading is something I still want to look into changing as I've seen some styles I like better, but for now, I want to focus on improving my animation quality/workflow and finding the best setup for physics.

This video will have the lesbian version public and a futa alt. I'm probably going to limit the alts there as I cannot think of a clever way to add more intrigue by changing angles and an exaggerated version would be kind of difficult with the plans I have for pt2 of this video (as a hint, the codename for this video includes "gape" and "group"). I'm probably going to spend some time animating other ideas tomorrow so I don't get discouraged about the physics here.

Thanks for reading this, I hope you enjoyed!
