1. Threadless
I've been invited to work with Threadless, and they are setting up a shop with some of my designs! Working with Threadless means I'll get to branch out into inventory that I don't normally carry because I don't have the storage capacity or the manufacturing budget. So like, shirts maybe?? Phone cases?? Still figuring out what designs will be available and what kind of merch I'll be able to offer. It's not announced yet, but I can't wait to talk about it, so here's a sneak peek.
These are just some of the files I sent over to Threadless to get started working with them! Are there any other designs of mine you'd like to see turned into merch?
As soon as the shop is live, Patreon will be the first to know, so stay tuned!!
2. Amira Miles
The last couple of images are sketches from this month. I have been working on Amira, my van life OC. I started scripting a NSFW comic for her, and it turned into a full story. OOPS!!!!!! The major players are Amira Miles, her van, her ex girlfriend Juliette, Manny Egret the beautiful tattooed masc influencer, and Bunny from Texas.
3. Pitches for new stories
That's on top of two pitches I'm working on with my agent. One is a YA story about wildfires and growing up, and the other is more of a book of illustrated poems. The wolf drawings kind of go with that. Making pitch packets takes me so long because it doesn't have the immediate gratification that working on The Shepherd's Sword has. I just want to be able to talk about them!!!!!
4. We're moving!
Ok and the final thing is that En and I have been moving this week. In fact, the day this post goes live, we'll be working with Rent A Butch to move our heavy furniture into a new apartment. I've been doing a sale this month to help me hire these butches and cover other moving costs. I super appreciate all the love and support! Today is the last day of the sale. My itch. io sale is 20% off all my zines automatically, and my physical merch shop has a discount code: MOVEIT for 20% off.
5. Thank you
And the final, final thing is that I've been sorting out some health stuff this month, and it's made me reflect on how grateful I am to be able to do art as my job. It has pros and cons, like anything, but I'm grateful. Thank you for being here and for being kind. (I'm ok btw, the health stuff is manageable. I'll be able to go back to the gym soon.)
