Sketchbook October 2021 (life update) (Patreon)

This is the first thing I've drawn in a month, so this is the only thing I have for the sketchbook update.

I took a week off at the beginning of the month, and then I broke up with my girlfriend. I ended up couch surfing for a week and looking for a new apartment. Then I got sick! Then I had to move while sick! I'm in my new apartment now, and I'm settling down. My cold is going away.

I really appreciate the support of my friends during this time. I don't think I would have made it through without them. And my mom, and my siblings. Special shoutout to Cait and her gf for helping me move all my earthly possessions across town in one day. And to everyone who let me sleep on their couches. And to everyone who listened to me talk and kept me company.

I'm in a much better place than I have been for the past couple months, and it will only get better from here. I'm trying to figure out my new routine. It's tricky to make art without a routine!

That being said, I appreciate your patience as I get back into drawing and posting. The Shepherd's Sword may take a brief hiatus while I catch up. I have an outstanding commission I need to finish. And then I have to be ready for Kumoricon!
