February 2023 Sketchbook + Update (Patreon)

It's that time of year! I've got the griddlehark (and kirianthe, sorry, sorry) brainworms again. This time 2 years ago, I first read this series <3 Which means I've been doing sketchbook updates for like 2 years now! WOW!

Also included in this sketchbook: pencil draft for my Matisse risograph print (contribution to Classics But Gay III), character design practice for How Could You (my upcoming graphic novel) and some pencils of Heave and Thaw (my contribution to the Boyish2 anthology, coming later this year). My girlfriend has been helping me with Heave and Thaw by doing my thumbnails. Having a storyboard artist gf is fucking awesome. I hate thumbnails. That's the hell I'm in right now for How Could You.

With so many projects, I'm putting The Shepherd's Sword on a continued hiatus. Heave and Thaw will likely be taking up the space in my schedule that TSS normally does. For now. At least until the end of spring/beginning of summer, I think. But if I finish up faster, I will let you know! I already have the next chapter scripted. It's just... well, you know. The part that comes after scripting............. (En, do you want to thumb TSS?)
