Sketchbook June 2023 (Patreon)

I finished the first half of How Could You pencils!!!!!!!! Chapter 1-6 has been penciled, and now I'm taking a lil break to finish Heave and Thaw (oooohhhh I'm so excited to share Heave and Thaw with you).

Contents in this sketchbook:

1. Final four pages of HCY Chapter 6 (it's a house party chapter!)2. My dogsona! I'm a rottweiler, as assigned by my dog special interest friend. They are correct.3. We've been watching Hannibal. Only 10 years late.4. I think drawing comics should be really simple, horny, and ugly. Putting your whole pussy into drawing sucks. I want to draw silly goofy easy things forever.5. That guy is for En's pirate comic (Boon of the Beacon Maker). They asked for ideas for background pirates. This guy dies, spoiler alert.6. Those life drawing images are from a cool trans life drawing event that we went to!

Life drawing continued: It was so good to get out of the house and do life drawing in person with queer people. The downside was that this was the time when my thumb had started twitching from drawing too much How Could You. I was scared that I had already overdone it and I was hardly half way through my first ever book.

BUT! I rested my thumb, wore a brace at night, and I got a better grip for my pencil (ok it's my friend's old makeup sponge beauty blender, it works). And at the life drawing, I used my left hand. All the lines drawn in beige marker, that's with my left hand. The black ink lines I drew with my right hand, but without using my thumb.

I tried to practice feet. I think I unlocked some foot knowledge at this event.
