Are you tired of having your Sims order the same cappuccino every time you send them to the local cafe? Well, things are about to change. Starbucks drinks and foods are now on the menu!

**Get Together Expansion Pack is required**

To give your Sims a more authentic Starbucks experience, Bean's Builds built the awesome lot that you see in the pics that will put any irl Starbucks location to shame! (More pics below)

How it Works:

Go into Build/Buy mode and search for the Insimnia Starbucks Custom Cafe. Place it on the lot. Make sure to have a coffee grinder and an espresso machine.

Click on the custom espresso bar  to bring up the menu. Please note that this custom bar will only contain Starbucks items.

When you click on the food option, you can order breakfast or lunch

When you click on the drink option, you can order Cold Coffees, Cold Drinks, or Frappuccinos

The barista will then make the drink or bring out the food!

Features:

I increased the amount of sips and bites it takes for the Sims to finish their drinks/foods because I want them to "savor" it and have a real cafe experience! lol

The caffeinated drinks will increase your Sim's energy levels more than the in game caffeinated drinks. (The Creme Fraps and Cold Drinks were not adjusted though!)

Tip:

Sometimes my cafe gets a little too crowded and the barista ends up canceling my orders. To help with this, I recommend having at least two espresso bars. I use LittleMsSam's Auto employee mod  so more baristas can spawn.

For a more peaceful cafe experience, set the lot type to Generic instead of Cafe and just hire a barista. This will ensure your Sim's orders will be highly prioritized since there will be far less Sims ordering.

Please make sure you have an espresso machine and coffee grinder available!

HOW TO INSTALL:

Simply drag and drop the PACKAGE File directly to your Mods folder.

Download the Recipes Part I and II from the linked post above.

when i download the second file its just showing up as 1 file that says starbucks recipes.nothing to extract

Hi when i order a frap, the barista goes for food first then for the drink carring both items in same hand, I checked again at a different cafe and the same things happening. Please it it possible to check this because i love the mod but wil have to remove if theres no fix. Plus im getting a crash too Thank you

Hi, I was just playing with the mod too and have no problems in terms of crashing. I think what is happening is that when there are a lot of Sims ordering at once, the barista has a lot of orders in the queue which ends up confusing the game. When this happens, the barista ends up cancelling the order. When you order the frap and the barista gives food instead, the food is for another Sim's order. Can you explain in detail the crash you're getting?

I recommend putting two of the cafe bars so that there is more than 1 barista. Please check the Tip Section of the mod post

Also try setting the lot type to Generic for now and just hire a barista. See if you're still having the same issue.

hi! I've got a couple questions to help troubleshoot: 1. Did you download both files? 2. Did you extract the Starbucks.rar folder correctly? You will know if you extracted it correctly if you can open the folder and see the Package files inside.

I had done everything. it works now a barista should have hired, my only problem is that of the recipes no labeling is what it is in the game? did I do something wrong?

so the recipes are showing up but it doesn't show the names of the recipes? that's very strange.. I just checked my game and everything works fine

ok it seems that the Starbucks.rar file was just not extracted properly. I will make a merged PACKAGE file for you.

Please remove the Starbucks.rar file and please download the new file that I uploaded called InsimniaStarbucksRecipesMERGED.package . You can just put that directly into your mods folder

my sims can order it and eat and drink it it just doesn't say what it is i play in german but all of their other dine out

it does not work for me. I even tried it in a new save. I had the merged version and then the unmerged, but i still only get the normal options when i try to order...please help

did you download the actual custom cafe package file?

Please make sure to go into Build mode and place the customcafe espresso bar. The Starbucks recipes will only show up there

I actually downloaded beans builds starbucks so i assumed everything was already there...that was my bad.. i searched in build mode and replaced the bar and it works. It looks amazing!!! You are sooo talented. I absolutely lovee eveerything. Thank youu for the help. I was devastated before

I'm so sad! I just cannot get this to work. I've got the custom cafe.package file in the mod folder, along with starbucks recipes part I and II (The rar files have been extracted and placed in mod folder). I placed the custom cafe on the lot and I have an espresso machine and grinder on the bar as well. :(

Hi, hmmm it should work. I edited this post since I can see how it can be confusing since I uploaded new versions and forgot to delete the ones here on this post. So if you go to this link https://www.patreon.com/posts/starbucks-custom-54668094 make sure that the recipes that you have are only from that post. Delete the ones that you had downloaded from this page.

As of now, I've removed all other mods. I re-downloaded the recipe mods at https://www.patreon.com/posts/starbucks-custom-54668094. Also, I went ahead and downloaded the custom cafe package file again as well. I put them all back in the mods folder. Still wont work for me. It still just gives me the option to tend bar or make drink (hire barista and upgrade options are there as well, but barista is already on lot.)

just want to make sure you went to Build/Buy and searched for and placed the Insimnia Starbucks Custom Cafe counter? because the food won't show up under any espressobar

oh sorry I did see that you mentioned you put the custom counter on the lot already. So if the barista is not hired yet, the options should say tend bar, hire barista etc.. but if the barista is hired and already on the lot, the options should then change to order food etc. so what does the option say then for you if the barista is already hired?

if the options are still "tend bar, hire barista" etc it means that the barista on the lot is still not working that espresso bar then. and you would just have to click hire again I guess. you have only 1 copy for each of the recipes right? 1 copy for part 1 and 1 copy for part 2 right?

I put everything in my game the right way and when I order a drink and go to pick it up it only gives me the clean up option.

that does happen sometimes especially when there are a lot of sims ordering at once, not sure why. you can just try ordering again and cheat back the money you paid lol

I downloaded and installed the custom cafe bar but i can not find it anywhere in build mode. when i search for it, it shows the name, i click on the name but still nothing :(

Hi! I just checked in my game and I was able to find the starbucks bar in Build/Buy and place it on a lot. I added a new picture if you scroll up to the How it Works section to show how it would look in the catalog.

I don’t know what is wrong, I also downloaded the McDonald’s shack which shows up when I search but the Starbucks still does not, I’ve tried deleting and redownloading but still nothing :(

have you tried just typing the name Insimnia in the search bar? It can also be found in the "Bars" category, same as the rest of the regular espresso bars in the game.

Yes I have tried typing insimnia in that’s how I found the McDonald’s shack, when I type in insimnia the bar actually shows up on the list but when I click on it, it’s like it can’t find it

I know you say it's blank but did you try to just place it on a lot because maybe it's just the thumbnail that's not loading?

Hello, for some reason I can't the custom espresso machine to sit on top of the custom cafe bar. Every time I try to put the espresso machine on the cafe bar it's red and says that I can't intersect objects. I've even tried to do it with the cheat bb.moveojects on.

Hi I'm not sure what you mean by the custom espresso machine. I only made the Insimnia Starbucks Custom Cafe Bar (see the picture in the How it Works section). I just use the espresso machine that comes in the game. Maybe the cc item you're using is not actually functional and just a decor object.

Ok I had the same problem that the user Slimmothy James had but I edited the lot without a sims on the lot and then took my sim to it. It works
