Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a good week!

I wanted to ask you guys what you prefer and basically give you a preview of what's coming next week.

So I'm going to be making a custom bar where your Sims can order alcoholic drinks! The problem is that I made a bottle but, it is taller than the drinks in the game so as a result, the animations are not the most precise aka, the bottle isn't exactly aligned with the mouth... I'm trying my best to get help from other modders in making a custom drinking animation since it's something I haven't done before. I haven't gotten a response yet so I don't know if I'll be able to do it. 

There is another option, and that is to make cans instead of bottles because I don't know if the animation will bother you guys..... But personally, I think the bottles look cuter :(

So I need you guys to VOTE

Should I do bottles or cans?

(But if by some miracle, I manage to succeed in doing the custom animation, I'm gonna have to do the bottles I'm sorry they look cute)

coming from someone who uses the height mod and the animations are wonky there, i personally don’t mind using the bottles and dealing with the wonky animations! :D

The water bottles aren't aligned perfectly but we sure aren't complaining because we're grateful for whatever - your content is amazing. I'm good with either. Thanks for asking!

Leniads wines and alcoholic beverages haven't been updated since 2018/19 and are hard to make with newer patches and custom refrigerators. The only way to make them is to use the Cooler Revenue Fridge. Also, you cannot get them from debug mode. His drinks were made from decorative versions by other creators. Maybe you can use those meshes with credit. Also, it may be possible to just update his mods for compatibility.

To be quite honest, all of the cc alcoholic drinks that I have don't necessarily line up with their mouths. It's not really a factor for me.

That's a great idea because I love Leniads work. I just can't use them anymore.

Bottles just will give realism , i mean cans will too but just imagine your fine man sim at the bar drinking a bottle of Heineken lol 😆

Honestly i would like to have the option of both if possible. But the bottles do look a lot cuter than the cans.
