Hello there. So, I downloaded the ingredients AND the recipes but the meal is still grayed out. For some reason, I can't open the steak strips.

Hello! You have to put the ingredients in your inventory or fridge. For the steak strips, just drag it directly. Usually if an ingredient has no option to be "opened", it means it can be used as it is

I did all of that. Also the rice and asparagus aren’t in my inventory. I did everything that you listed for the ingredients and recipe but items aren’t showing up

You have to buy the ingredients either from my custom register or just go to build buy mode. After that, put them either in your sim's inventory or fridge. So in this case, you need to have the rice (opened), asparagus (opened), and the steak in your sim's inventory or fridge. If you look at the list, it will also have a number on the side. For example, 1 cup of white rice (4/4), it means you would need to have 4 of those rice in your inventory/fridge. If you don't have all the required ingredients, the meal will be grayed out.

I did all of that but the ingredients still aren’t showing up in the fridge or inventory. I’m not sure what’s going on with that. I tried the custom register and build/buy mode but nothing is working.

The ingredients won't show up automatically in the fridge or the inventory. You have to manually go into buy mode and get it from there or the custom register. If you can't find them in the register, you might have a previous version of the register file that is overriding the latest one.

As long as you have all 5 files in your mods folder (the 3 ingredient files from this post, the actual recipe file from the grocery haul post, and the most updated version of the grocery list file) you should be able to make the beef stir fry recipe. If all else fails, you are able to make the recipe without ingredients, just make sure the ingredient files are all removed from your mods folder.

Hi how did you get this to work. I downloaded all files and I am only getting frozen recipes on the register.

I actually deleted the files then reinstalled them and in the EA app, I repaired my game. When I restarted the game, everything was available. I hope this helps you out like it helped me.

Where are the asparagus and rice located in the game? It’s not with the other insimnia eats items. Same with the eggs and avocados from the other recipe. It’s located in clutter decorations. But I can’t find the items from this recipe anywhere…only the steak strips.

Hi, they should be in appliances misc. Sometimes I do forget to change the tags though, so if you can't find them there, they're in clutter decor. I highly recommend you to also download the cash register so you won't have to go into Buy mode everytime.
