MADE FREE FOR 8/8 2026!

For those coming in from that: This is an old test of adding audio to the game! It's outdated by now (sounds have been improved even more with more variety and nuance in the final, and here there's only prey scene audio) but should still give you a taste of what's in store when the full update releases! The full release will have full audio for both Prey and Pred oral scenes, including an option to choose your character's "voice" for what set of burps is used in the latter!

This test build is not the full game, I'm actually reusing an old demo build from when the interactive struggle system was overhauled (so balance might be a little off from the current game since it's ~2 years out of date iirc, the audio is the main focus). Other scene types from that demo are still present but again, it's only player-prey oral scenes that have audio here.

Features:

General stomach ambiance that ramps up in intensity as the acid level rises

Struggling sounds for your actions with variants to match intensity (conservative/normal/aggressive)

Audio cues to accompany you and your pred passing health thresholds, and when you get digested

Audio can be muted (unmuted by default) and set to mute itself when the game tab loses focus (enabled by default)

(original post from 2025 below, you're not missing anything it's just for posterity)

Hey everyone, I'm back and recharged after my break! I'm still easing back into things and will need to do the full outline for Day 11 still so I wouldn't expect a proper dev build until late in the month, but! I have a little surprise experiment to share.

With some help from the lovely Ssublissive (check out her work if you haven't, it's great!) I've been tinkering with adding audio to the vore scenes in the game! For now, it's exclusive to player-prey scenes and is very much still an experimental thing that may not end up making it into the final game, but I think it's turning out quite well and would like to hear your thoughts on it! If all goes well, I'll work on expanding the concept to have audio for all of the different interactive vore scene types, pred and prey.

Let me know what you think!

It definitely has a few potential issues just on the technical side. For example, you will probably notice that the file for just this demo build with a handful of isolated scenes is over 6x larger than the latest full release of the game. That's because I directly embedded the audio files for maximum ease and compatibility, leaving the game playable as just a single(now giant) html file that should work on any device that can open the current game. But, I've already seen some hints that the Twine editor I use to make the game is not liking the huge file size and might start getting unstable if I push it further, and there's also a chance that antivirus software might start flagging the game as suspicious now since html files are generally not nearly this big. So this method may not end up being feasible to bring into the full game with even more audio packed in for other scene types.

I'll probably be trying out adding sound to player-pred scenes using external audio files instead as one last experiment before moving on to Day 11. I hope you enjoy this little test build!

Osmium, I think it's fantastic. This is what the game was missing. This will definitely add to the experience. If you have ever watched Bobby Mackolatoo's anal vore video, 'School Rules', you will see what I mean. If this works, I can see a lot more people becoming interested in your project. This also opens the door to other ambient sounds such as prey calling for help or demanding / begging to be released. It can be used to add to the emotional atmosphere that presently is 'beige' for want of a better word. Currently, prey seems to give up rather easily as if they only had to wait for a respawn and not 'this is the only life you have'. If you have played ALphard's 'Hunting Hydra' (an excellent vore VN), they get around this issue by causing the prey to become intoxicated / aroused while 'in belly' which has them fight for a short period but then they become passified and then aroused and lose focus of what's happening to them

I'm interested in this as well It could add to the immersion and make the game that much more enjoyable to those that like it.

It's really good, although it would be great if they added pred scenes in the future.

Glad you liked it so much! I don't think I want to add any vocals of any kind, I'm afraid, I think that would get repetitive pretty fast and be a little immersion breaking for everyone to have the same voice

Osmium, I can see your point. Depending on how long the battle lasted, you could hear a lot of repetition. Especially if the ambient sounds are NOT tied to each turn but are continuous. In Bobby's "School Rules" the sounds are continuous, but so is the action. The battle is progressing so some repetition doesn't break the immersion. It was an idea. Maybe if the sounds were unintelligible cries or sobs.

Osmium, I have tried a few attempts at being prey with different preds. I particularly like the heart beat in the background. Maybe that could be sped up as the situation gets closer to your digestion (assuming the pred gets excited. Izumi seems to just relax her way to digesting prey). I also loved the massive belch upon digestion. That should be standard for all scenes, pred and prey. That bar-shaking troll belch should signify the fight is OVER.
