My guest is Julian Feeld, an author, journalist and co-founder of the QAA podcast. He is the host of Superstructure with comedian Jon Gabrus. Our conversation explores the impact of media, political speech and “influence” in our extremely-online society. What do we hope to accomplish through content? When does education and information impact real material forces in the world? From differing viewpoints, Julian and I explore the theory and practice of political-education.

Very interesting episode. I resonated with it because I have also had the feeling that there is nothing we can do within the “normal” political system to change things in the USA. In one of the Gulf wars,I can’t remember which, MILLIONS of people protested across the world to no avail. They did it anyway, the powers that ordered it didn’t give one shit what people seriously wanted to happen. I’ve also been depressed since.
