Today I’m releasing the ADMaps DH Levels module for Foundry VTT v13 across all my related Patreon pages (ADMaps, Fantasy Battlemaps, Cybermaps).

This module allows you to use Foundry regions to control token elevation, create platforms, and build smooth ramps and stairs with gradual height transitions for movement.

See video example:

It properly handles different movement types:

Walking - the token snaps to the defined elevation (otherwise defaults to 0)

Flying - the token automatically rises when moving to higher elevation, but does not descend when moving down, staying at its current height instead.

Burrowing - the token ignores elevation differences and moves through them

Region elevation is fully supported, enabling multi-level environments.

You can press Alt + W on any layer (tokens, tiles, etc.) to toggle the visibility of walls and regions, making it much easier for the GM to understand what’s happening during play and while creating new regions.

The module was originally designed with Daggerheart in mind, supporting its four standard distance increments (from very close 15 ft to very far 120 ft).

But I also added support for custom heights. You can manually set whatever elevation values fit your game.

I highly recommend using this module with my maps to get the full intended experience. However, if you prefer not to use it, the regions will still be present on the maps, allowing you to manually configure their functionality however you like.

Enjoy! If you notice any bugs or odd behavior, feel free to message me directly.

P.S. I’m planning to release my custom Pathfinding Module for Foundry v13 on the Fantasy Battlemaps Patreon page relatively soon. I’ve built it from scratch using the Routelib library, stay tuned!
