Hey everyone!

Today I'd like to share a small experiment I've been working on. I'm not sure yet whether I'll continue this project - it will depend entirely on your feedback. Right now, I'm considering creating assets for the Feywild, a desert, city building ruins, and village ruins.

I've seen many creators make similar content using AI, but I decided to take a different approach and build everything from scratch in 3D. For future releases like this, I could provide both the individual assets and a fully assembled animated map built from them. No sense letting good assets go to waste, right?

Please leave a reaction or comment on this post so I can understand whether there's interest in this kind of content. I'd also love to hear your ideas - what assets or environment pieces would you like to see first?

It is now available for free as a part of a bigger constructor:

I also recommend installing the following modules:

Token Magic FX — https://foundryvtt.com/packages/tokenmagic - to have animated foliage effects in trees.

Wall Height — https://foundryvtt.com/packages/wall-height - to allow characters to walk underneath the statues' raised arms.

Better Roofs — https://foundryvtt.com/packages/betterroofs - to properly hide walls beneath tree canopies.

Parallax Tiles — https://foundryvtt.com/packages/parallax-tiles - for the parallax effect on trees.

Multiface Tiles — https://foundryvtt.com/packages/multiface-tiles - to turn the portal on and off with just a couple of clicks.

adm-roof-fog-fix - fixes fog-of-war issues when a token moves out from beneath a tree canopy.

My players and I really enjoy your 3D maps. I often find myself wishing I could move a wall or relocate an exit to fit my needs, so your latest update is great news. Providing a handcrafted version along with the assets to customize it feels like a natural evolution. The ability to modify the layout or integrate assets from other packs to create something new is very exciting.

Thanks for the feedback! What kinds of locations would you be most interested in? Right now I'm working on a set of moss-covered ruins for forest regions, designed so GMs can easily create bandit hideouts and similar locations. Sneak peek: https://ibb.co/MyDfzSrq

Yes! this looks very cool! i would also like more elven themed maps, like city tiles, markets all that good stuff, i know there is an underwater map already but it would also be cool to expand on that, keep up the great work!

Being able to customize a scene is extremely useful. Speaking for myself, I already own a huge library of assets I can use to create a scene in just about any biome. What I don't have are the animated assets like the portal in this one, so a release of just animated assets would be the most useful to me. The biomes I usually use are caves, swamps, sky/floating, dungeon. Secondary would be forest, underwater/sea, tundra and desert. I rarely run city-based adventures. I'd be mostly interested in ruins and objects with magical/visual effects (portals, obelisks, gateways, altars, energy fields, pools of lava/acid/etc.) that can be active/inactive as a focus for the scene.
