Weekly Update: Bug Fixes Across the Board + Multi-Q Beta (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Busy week, here's everything that shipped since Saturday.

Bug Fixes (all plugins updated)

Multi-Comp: External sidechain fixed — Sidechain input wasn't being picked up correctly. Now it (hopefully) works reliably across all DAWs. (v1.2.5)

Multi-Comp: Opto Peak Reduction — Fixed the Vintage Opto mode's gain reduction behavior for more musical compression. It was way too aggressive at high gain reduction.

Multi-Comp: Mix knob in 1x mode — Fixed the dry/wet mix control when oversampling was disabled. Phase issues and comb filtering were happening

TapeMachine: Mix knob phase issue — The dry/wet mix was causing comb filtering due to phase mismatch. Removed the mix knob entirely to keep the signal clean — use your DAW's built-in dry/wet instead or add to a aux send. (v1.0.4)

Fine control (Shift+drag) fixed — Shift+drag for precise knob adjustments was broken on certain knob types across all plugins. Now works correctly everywhere.

Persistent window sizing — Resize any plugin window and it remembers your size next time you open it. Applied to all plugins.

Multi-Q v0.9.0 — Beta

This is the next evolution of the 4K-EQ to pair nicely with Multi-Comp. Multi-Q continues to take shape with some big additions:

Digital Mode

Dynamic EQ mode — Each band can now act as a dynamic EQ with threshold, ratio, attack, and release

Filter shape selector — Parametric bands now support Peaking, Notch, and Band Pass shapes

Per-band channel routing — Route individual bands to Stereo, Left, Right, Mid, or Side

UI polish and clip indicators

British Mode

Tube Mode

Multi-Q is in pre-release — grab the beta and let me know how it feels. Feedback on the Dynamic EQ especially welcome! It's still pretty rough around the edges so definitely expect bugs! Also, the UI might change quite a bit over the next few days as I fix and move things around.
