Big release wave: every plugin updated (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone!
Today I pushed updates to all seven released plugins at once. Here's what landed and why you'll want to grab the new builds.
Grab them here: https://dusk-audio.github.io/
Type exact values into any knob
Every plugin now supports double-click-to-edit on its controls. Need exactly 1.23 kHz, or +3.7 dB? Double-click the knob, type the value, hit enter. Works across 4K EQ, Multi-Comp, TapeMachine, Multi-Q, DuskVerb, Chord Analyzer, and Spectrum Analyzer.
CLAP support everywhere
All seven plugins now ship a .clap build alongside VST3, AU, and LV2. Bitwig, Reaper, and other CLAP-aware hosts can load them natively.
Multi-Q UX overhaul
Disabled bands now disappear completely in Digital mode, no more visual clutter. There's a new band strip below the graph for quick per-band enable and select. Parametric bands got proper names (Low, Low Mid, Mid, High Mid) instead of the cryptic Para 1/2/3/4. I also fixed a dynamic-EQ rendering bug where brief orange spikes would flash on the curve whenever DYN fired.
Multi-Comp collapses unused bands
Disable a band in Multiband mode and the crossovers actually go away, rather than just ducking the band silently. You can now use Multi-Comp as a 4-band, 3-band, or 2-band compressor without paying CPU for unused crossovers. There's also a new minimal-processing fast path with an internal-oversampling toggle, for modes that don't really benefit from oversampling.
Chord Analyzer history strip and MIDI drag-and-drop
Shipped in v1.1.2 a few days ago and now polished in v1.1.3. Drag a detected chord progression straight into your DAW as a MIDI clip. The history strip persists across reloads, so you don't lose what you played when you reopen the project.
Full PDF user manuals
Every released plugin now has a proper manual, available as a per-plugin PDF from the plugin page or as a single combined book. Real how-to content (workflows, parameter walkthroughs, tips, etc.), not just feature lists. The source lives in the plugin repo and the build pipeline regenerates the PDFs on every release, so the manuals stay in sync automatically.
Behind the scenes
A fair amount of build-system tidying landed alongside the user-facing work: standardized format options across all plugins, dropped the rarely-used Standalone build (which roughly halves Windows compile time), and fixed a CI deadlock that was costing a couple of hours on every release wave. Early scaffolding for DuskAmp, the next plugin in the pipeline, is also in the tree.
Something big will be coming out in the next month or so after DuskAmp, so stay tuned!
As always, thanks for the support. None of this ships without you.
