New Feature: Annual Membership (Patreon)

Patreon just released a new feature in which patrons can decide to pledge for 1 year of patreon. 

Doing so will net them a 10% discount over the whole price, making it "better" if you're sure you're gonna stick around. 

Patreon encourages creator to let their community know about this change with a post, so here we are!

Does the discount get taken out of what you get paid, or does Patreon take less of a cut, or half and half?

I get paid less, not Patreon. I do like the feature tho, it gives creators a bit more "breathing air" knowing that, for a year, they have that patron, which allows to plan stuff a bit better. Overall I'm fine with people using it or not using it, I'm happy they have the option.
