I bet in this universe she IS where the holiday got it's name and she's hella salty about it. All the "rebirth and renewal" imagery is tangential at best, too indirect to get points as a form of worship.

Reminds me of Holiday Wars. Part of WHY the Easter Bunny declared war on Humanity was due to perceptions we have of holidays changing how they look. I'd be pissed too if I used to be a Celtic Goddess.
